NDT offers important tools for ensuring both safety and quality control in a wide variety of industrial, infrastructure, and engineering applications. There are many different NDT technologies in use, all of which have in common the ability to test for material defects and properties that are critical to their ultimate functionality. These technologies include ultrasound, phased array ultrasound, eddy current, eddy current array, remote visual inspection, and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyzers.
