(SAKOR: Okemos, MI) -- SAKOR Technologies, a leader in engine and powertrain testing, has made available its new Hybrid Vehicle Test System, designed for testing a complete hybrid/electric vehicle (HEV) driveline, or any vehicle subsystem, including emissions testing. The system can run a wide variety of road-load profiles and simulations, and is designed for testing to all international standards, including existing and proposed regulations from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB), and Euro standards.

The system is completely user-configurable and features a system architecture that allows it to be adapted for research and development, performance evaluation, and durability testing of high-power electric motors and inverters, high-voltage batteries and battery-management systems, transmissions and mechanical components, and complete power train and emissions testing.
