A little more than a year ago, Quality Digest
launched InsideQuality, a Web community (or portal, in Web talk) for quality professionals. The goal was to provide a single starting point in quality professionals' quest for information, including news, product and service directories, articles, job listings, equipment and more.
InsideQuality has exceeded even our wildest expectations. In just 12 months, nearly 10,000 people have become members of the portal. They've used the site to find jobs, buy
and sell equipment, keep up on the latest quality-related news, find answers to tough questions and more. We're all proud of what we've accomplished with InsideQuality,
particularly in light of the dotcom meltdown that ended countless other Web ventures. We're also proud that we've kept the site free for members, even in the midst of what's been labeled the
worst advertising recession in history. InsideQuality has succeeded because it provides the breadth and depth of knowledge that its members need. Its success also stems from
the hard work and determination of the InsideQuality staff, particularly Web master extraordinaire, Dirk Dusharme. His tireless efforts have created a truly exceptional and functional Web
community. However, Dirk and the rest of us at Quality Digest aren't content to rest on InsideQuality's success. As part of our effort to make the site even more useful and
more functional, we've completely redesigned and refocused many of the site's features. InsideQuality is now divided into seven resource centers. These allows members to access
specific quality-related areas faster and more efficiently. For example, if you're looking for information on Six Sigma, simply visit the InsideQuality home page at www.insidequality.com and
enter the Six Sigma Resource Center. Inside, you'll find Six Sigma-related articles, job listings, a calendar of events, an expert-moderated forum, providers of Six Sigma-related products and
services, and more. You'll also find resource centers for ISO 9000:2000, metrology, automotive quality, management, statistical process control and standards. And, we'll be
adding more as we continue to expand the site's content while remaining sharply focused. These resource centers are in addition to InsideQuality's existing content. Therefore,
you'll still be able to access all of the other features and benefits of the site as well, including our weekly QualityInsider e-newsletter. So, whether you're a longtime
member of InsideQuality or if you've never visited before, I invite you to drop by. Membership is free, and it's fast and easy to join.
