We have a production planner who, bless his heart, uses about four different highlighter colours to highlight information on the production work orders. The only problem is - most of the text snippets being highlighted fall into the 'remove burrs' category; long since dealt with, but the text remains! One then wonders why the operators never seem to pay attention to the work orders...separating the wheat from the chaff is harder than it sounds.
