Jacqueline Crew was recently appointed vice president of pharmaceutical sciences quality at the Schering-Plough Research Institute. In her new role, Crew is responsible for leading worldwide quality assurance activities for SPRI in support of global clinical supplies manufacturing, pre-approval inspections for new product introductions and management of SPRI’s consent decree commitments. In addition, she chairs SPRI’s Pharmaceutical Quality Council and co-chairs its Pharmaceutical Sciences Compliance Governance Council.

Crew joined Schering-Plough in 2000 and has held positions in analytical development and global quality. Prior to joining the company, she held numerous research and development leadership positions with Aventis Pharma, Rhone-Poulenc Rorer and Fisons. Crew holds a B.S. in chemistry and pharmacology and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry.
