The real risks of artificial intelligence will spring from AI being provided poorly thought out AI performance metrics. Most performance metrics already cause unintended consequences by themselves. Now imagine the issues in effective design of simultaneous systems of performance metrics to be used by AI. A key part of beneficial AI is succeeding at this complex task.
