One of the things I hear from many people is they want to improve their ability to focus. If they just had a distraction-free environment, they could get the right things done. Well, I’m writing this from a distraction-free environment—one of those booths they have at airports where you can make video calls and have privacy.

From inside the booth, no outside sounds can be heard; even the glass on the door is frosted so there are no visual distractions. What’s more, these booths often offer additional features, such as adjustable lighting levels and comfortable chairs, which help make the workspace more conducive to productivity. With all of these things taken into account, it’s easy to see why using an airport focus booth could be an excellent way to get work done when you’re away from your normal workspace.
However, the reality is, the perfect space isn’t the only thing that’s required to focus. There are two other factors.
The first factor
There must be a clearly defined goal or objective for the time during which you plan to focus.
