ACLASS Corp., a Washington, D.C.-based ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation body, recently signed onto an international recognition agreement for calibration and testing.
Company representatives attended the 11th Annual General Assembly of the Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation in August, where they formally signed onto the IAAC’s Multi-Lateral Recognition Arrangement. The IAAC is an association of accreditation bodies in the Americas and other organizations interested in conformity assessment. It has 22 full members, 7 associate members and 11 stakeholder members from 22 countries.
“We, as an organization, worked very hard over several years to become a signatory to the IAAC MLA,” says Keith Greenaway, ACLASS president. “The dedication of the entire ACLASS team is to be commended.”
