(API: Rockland, MD) -- Earlier this month, API Services announced its acquisition of R&C Service Solutions Inc., a full-service, machine-tool support service company located in Arizona. R&C is now operating as API Services: Southwest Division.

API Services President Ronald S. Hicks welcomed the R&C employees aboard and called the acquisition a boost to API Services. “Without a doubt, we will be able to provide the best machine-tool calibration and repair services in the industry,” says Hicks.

The new API Services is teaming up to provide a one-stop shop for machine tool customers by offering machine tool calibration and certification, preventive maintenance programs, and flexible manufacturing system (FMS) cell system relocation. With a larger team provided by the R&C acquisition, API Services is now prepared to offer these services nationwide.

“The merging of these two unique companies will position API Services not only in the Southwest region, but also in the national market as they pursue individual relationships with both end users and manufacturers,” says Ray Beauregard Jr., the general manager of API Services: Southwest Division.
