“This new feature enables users to increase their flexibility and save valuable time,” says Alexander Dollansky, product manager at Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology. “They can work more efficiently and cost-aware.” A precision system turns the workpiece with the corresponding side facing the stylus. This allows the stylus system to capture the geometry of the gear wheel in a simple process without having to repeatedly travel to a new position.
The added flexibility for users is one of the key properties of DuraMax RT Gear. The rotary table can be freely positioned on the measuring plate and removed later in just a few steps. DuraMax RT Gear can therefore be flexibly used as a universal measuring machine when other jobs arise. Additional features include its suitability for rough production environments, proven and innovative ZEISS measuring software, a small footprint, and low power consumption.
