(Hexagon Metrology: North Kingstown, RI) -- Hexagon Metrology has announced the relocation of its Michigan Precision Center to a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility on a campus-like setting in Wixom, Michigan. The 26,000 sq. ft. facility includes a spacious calibration laboratory, enhanced portable metrology training facilities, a distribution warehouse, and a high-tech office with greater energy efficiency and modern building systems. The Wixom Precision Center is 35 miles northwest of downtown Detroit with convenient freeway access for customers. The center will house more than 50 employees with an additional 110 service engineers based and dispatched from its location.

Hexagon Metrology’s new precision center is located in Wixom Technology Park at 48443 Alpha Drive, Ste. 100, Wixom, MI 48393. The company’s existing fax and telephone numbers remain unchanged. A customer open house is being planned for Spring 2012.
