(Konica Minolta: Ramsey, NJ) -- Konica Minolta Sensing Americas Inc. (KMSA), a global provider of industrial measurement of color, light, and shape, announces its participation as an exhibitor at IMTS 2010 in Chicago on Sept. 13–18.

KMSA, a long time supporter and exhibitor of IMTS, will be showcasing its RANGE 7 3-D noncontact scanner, a high-accuracy instrument for measuring the three-dimensional shape of objects such as forged or cast parts, press-formed parts, and plastic parts.
Also available are the VIVID series of 3-D scanners, which provide top-level accuracy for research and development, design, gaming software, video production, museums, and measurement of the human body.
This year at IMTS, Konica Minolta will be hosting free workshops at its booth, No. E5328. The first workshop, “3-D Scanning for Inspection,” will be held daily at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. The second, “3-D Scanning for Reverse Engineering” will be held daily at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.. All attendees to the workshops are entered to win an Apple iPAD.
