The metrology division of Leica Geosystems recently relocated its Midwest Service Center to a new state-of-the-art facility in Wichita, Kansas. The new Wichita Service Center is a 4,000 square-foot facility that is staffed with highly qualified Laser Tracker service technicians. “We are responding to a substantial increase in demand for our services resulting from a steady growth in our customer base,” says Joe Van Bever, Metrology Service Manager Americas. “The expansion of the North American servicing capacity allows the metrology division to provide a whole new level of excellence to our customer base, thus restating our mission of being the purveyor of first-class industrial metrology software and hardware with support and service capabilities that are truly unmatched by our competition.”
