(Geomagic: Morrisville, NC) -- Geomagic, a global provider of 3-D software for creating and inspecting digital models of physical objects, will be demonstrating its latest 3-D reverse-engineering and inspection software products throughout the SolidWorks World 2012, scheduled for Feb. 12–15, 2012, in San Diego.

For the event, Geomagic will focus on 3-D imaging workflows with SolidWorks 2012, allowing point-cloud data to be turned into accurate 3-D models using Geomagic Studio and transferred seamlessly into SolidWorks with a full history-tree included. Conversely, SolidWorks data can be imported into Geomagic Qualify for instantaneous comparison and measurement in an inspection environment.
