(Renishaw: Wotton-Under-Edge, UK) -- On Oct. 12, 2011, Renishaw and Okuma will present a metrology seminar to address the need for increased process control, and provide details on the Productivity Pyramid, Renishaw’s systematic approach to reducing waste and variation in manufacturing processes via a variety of innovative technology, proven methods, and expert support.

The 90-minute seminar will be presented twice—at 10 a.m. and again at 2 p.m.—with a hot lunch and machine-tool demonstrations from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The demonstrations will feature Renishaw’s latest inspection and measurement technologies on Okuma machine tools. Attendees of both the morning and afternoon sessions are invited to the lunch and demonstrations.
