(Hexagon Metrology: London) -- Hexagon Metrology  recently announced the immediate availability of improved GLOBAL coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) by the DEA brand. Thanks to the ScanPlus optimization program, continuous scanning becomes even more accurate, reliable, and faster over the complete GLOBAL CMM line. ScanPlus also makes continuous scanning packages available on the Classic models and allows achieving new levels of excellence on the Performance and Advantage models.

“The GLOBAL Classic models are now especially attractive for customers that are interested in an entry-level coordinate measuring machine but at the same time would like to measure their parts with high accuracy in scanning mode,” says Dario Tessarollo, product line manager for bridge CMMs for Hexagon's Europe, Middle East, and Africa market.

Additionally, the technical specifications of the GLOBAL CMMs have been further enhanced by improving different components and aspects of the manufacturing process in the course of the ScanPlus optimization program.
