Renishaw recently released QuickView, software that makes the company’s widely used ML10 laser interferometry system more powerful and flexible. The resulting system combines the accuracy and resolution of Renishaw’s interferometer system with the ease of use of a conventional oscilloscope. It gives engineers continuous streaming data on machine dynamics, viewable on an oscilloscope-like display. An intuitive package, QuickView enables real-time high-resolution dynamic motion analysis of linear or angular positioning accuracy, velocities, accelerations and vibrations.
Applications include everything from miniaturized, high-speed stages in electronics and biotechnology, to transducers, actuators, machine tools, measuring machines, and many kinds and sizes of multi-axis motion systems.
