(INUS: Seoul, South Korea) -- INUS Technology, a provider of technology and services in 3-D scanning and developer of Rapidform software, a well-known name in reverse engineering, inspection, and scan data processing, has announced a strategic agreement with Basis Software, developer of the Surphaser line of portable 3-D scanners. The agreement enables Surphaser to globally distribute a complete reverse-engineering solution that combines Surphaser mid- and long-range 3-D scanners with Rapidform’s 3-D scanning software.

The Surphaser line of 3-D laser scanners is a highly accurate way of capturing the physical world around us. Surphaser 3-D scanners can scan objects from 1 m to more than 70 m away with submillimeter accuracy, and can capture up to 1.2 million points per second. The scanners are designed to be portable and adaptable to industrial and outdoors environments.
