The electronic technology incorporated into automobiles is becoming increasingly complex and greater in volume. The new facility doubles TÜV SÜD’s capacity to meet supplier timing and testing needs, from engineering development to design validation to product validation.
“This facility has expanded TÜV SÜD’s ability to provide radio-frequency (RF) immunity and emissions testing to a wide range of automotive industry standards,” says Steve English, EMC testing manager for TÜV SÜD. “The additional investment in this facility will allow us to improve our test timing and response to customer demand for more development testing, particularly on larger test systems such as HV batteries and related control electronics.”
