(Schoelly Imaging: Worcester, MA) -- Schoelly Imaging Inc., a provider of patented technologies in complex visualization systems for industry and medicine, has upgraded its 4.0 mm Universal Borescope, a modular borescope system whose interchangeable optic objectives allow inspectors to change angles with a single borescope. Optics for the 4 mm diameter borescope have been improved, resulting in greater luminosity. It also features threaded tips and working lengths, from 135 mm to 1,460 mm.

Interchangeable optic objectives
A single scope with variable fields and angles of view, the Universal Borescope’s key design features include interchangeable objective tips, rotatable objective sleeves, and extension adaptors that provide cost-effective options for budget-minded inspectors. Interchangeable objectives are available in 0°, 12°, 30°, 45°, 70°, or 90° direction of view and 10° to 85° field of view. Rotatable objective sleeves are available in 0°, 12°, 30°, 45°, 70°, or 90° direction of view, and rotatable mirror tubes are available in 70°, 90°, or 110° direction of view. Universal Borescopes are also available in 5.5 mm, 8.0 mm, and 10 mm diameters.
