An upcoming metrology course will focus on the practical use of vibration and shock testing, measurement, analysis and calibration. The course will be held Oct. 16–18 at the Amerisuites Las Vegas. Wayne Tustin, an expert on vibration and shock testing, and president of Equipment Reliability Institute will teach. The training is designed for engineers and technicians who conduct developmental and production vibration and shock tests, and for designers of products that must survive this testing and rigorous service conditions. It would also be applicable to automotive metrologists, and to sales and applications engineers.
Besides providing comprehensive, practical examples of vibration and shock testing, the course will also offer insight into the theories of the practice.
