(IDS Imaging Development Systems: Woburn, MA) -- IDS Imaging Development Systems, a global leader in machine vision technology, has unveiled its most affordable 10-megapixel USB uEye LE 2.0 color camera.

Designed for applications ranging from parts inspection to microscopy, the new UI-1495LE-C camera incorporates an Aptina 1/2-inch complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) progressive scan sensor in 10-megapixel resolution (3,840 × 2,748 pixels) or four times the resolution of HDTV. With the added features of binning, subsampling, and automated optical inspection (AOI), the camera delivers frame rates up to 14.94 frames/sec at 1,920 × 1,080 HD resolution and 47.37 frames/sec at 800 × 600 resolution. Maximum frame rate in free-run mode is three frames/sec.
