(Kellogg School of Management, Southfield, Michigan) -- The Manufacturing Business Conference is hosted by the Master of Management and Manufacturing program, a joint degree program between the Kellogg School of Management and the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.
The MBC is recognized as the gala event of the year for the MMM program by MMM students, faculty and alumni. The goal of the conference is to enrich the educational and business communities via an exchange of cutting-edge management practices applicable to product-driven companies. Last year’s conference attracted more than 250 industry executives and professionals, accomplished entrepreneurs, alumni, and a wide range of students and faculty from various disciplines within Northwestern.The one-day conference offers a mix of keynote addresses, panel discussions, and attendee interaction. The 2007 conference will focus on the theme “Ideas to Action” and explore topics such as domestic manufacturing, outsourcing to China, sustainable manufacturing and the role of operations in private equity.
