Problem-solver Adam Kahane will deliver the keynote speech at the American Society for Quality’s 2007 World Conference on Quality and Improvement.
The conference will be held April 30–May 2 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Kahane will present his perspective on social responsibility and global business on the first day of the conference at 8:30 a.m.Kahane is acclaimed worldwide for his skill in helping spiritual, government and business leaders resolve conflict in more than 50 countries.
Previously the head of social, political, economic and technological scenarios for Royal Dutch/Shell in London, Kahane is the author of Solving Tough Problems: An Open Way of Talking, Listening, and Creating New Realities (Berrett-Koehler Publishers, 2004), about which Nelson Mandela said, “[It] addresses the central challenge of our time: finding a way to work together to solve the problems we have created.”
ASQ’s 2007 conference features leadership and innovation in industry-specific sessions on social responsibility, systems thinking, virtual societies, customer value and change management, among other topics.
