(ANSI: New York) -- Members of the American National Standards Institute are invited to participate in the annual recommendation of qualified candidates for the 2008 ANSI board of directors and for membership, voting and nonvoting, on policy committees. Nominations must be received no later than Monday, June 11, 2007. Nominations are for terms beginning January 1, 2008.
To assist in the nomination process, the ANSI board has created nomination guidelines to target sectors that may currently be underrepresented within the federation, ensure balance and diversity within the membership, enhance ANSI’s relationships and networks, and highlight individual personal attributes. The guidelines, along with the recently approved ANSI Code of Ethics, nominations forms and general information are available in the ANSI Online Library.
