(APICS: Chicago, Illinois) -- The Association for Operations Management recently completed the relocation of the association’s corporate headquarters from Alexandria, Virginia, to Chicago to better serve its 43,000 members. Chicago’s labor force boasts a large number of operations management and association professionals and represents a talent pool uniquely suited to meet the needs of APICS members.

“Our move to Chicago perfectly situates us to make the necessary leap forward to help our members succeed not only here at home, but across the globe,” says Abe Eshkenazi, CEO of APICS. “The move solidifies our commitment to attracting only the finest of employees and ensures the absolute best team possible is serving our members. The organization’s next 50 years will be defined by increased competition, increased globalization, and ever-changing technology and best practices.”

A team of professionals has been engaged to assist the association and its employees with the move and facilitate a seamless transition. APICS recently hosted an open house reception at its new corporate headquarters.
