The American Society for Quality will host a two-day conference that will demonstrate how to use mandatory financial reporting to improve overall operations. “Beyond Compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley—Financial Benefits From Integrating Your Management Systems,” will be held Sept. 27–28 at the Doubletree Hotel in Philadelphia. It will feature several breakout sessions, a panel discussion and networking opportunities. Edwin Piñero, who was appointed by President Bush to serve as the federal environmental executive; and Harry Hertz, Baldrige National Quality Program director will deliver a keynote addresses.
The conference is intended to help attendees learn to integrate their organizations’ quality, environmental and financial management systems for supporting compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. It’s designed for executive managers, risk managers, financial managers, operational managers, internal quality and environmental auditors, internal financial auditors, and quality and environmental professionals.
