(ASQ: Milwaukee) — ASQ (American Society for Quality) is inviting submissions for its Education Team Excellence Award, which provides educators with the opportunity to capture national and international recognition for the winning schools’ team-based quality improvement efforts. The deadline for completing the intent-to-submit form is July 26. The online form is available at http://nqec.asq.org/team-award/intent-to-submit.html.

The award is open to all K-12 and higher education administrators, teachers, and support personnel who are interested in benchmarking their team’s quality improvement efforts against other schools’ best practices. In addition, participants share their successful models with other educators throughout the United States. The nation’s most outstanding improvement efforts will be showcased at the 18th Annual National Quality Education Conference (NQEC) Nov. 7–9, in Rosemont, Illinois. The award is sponsored by ASQ.
