“Achieving Breakthrough Improvement, No Capital Investment Required,” is the topic of a seminar planned as part of an upcoming conference to be held Sept. 28–30 in Chicago. The seminar will be facilitated by Paul Vragel, president of 4aBetterBusiness Inc. It’s part of the Manufacturing and Economic Recovery Conference. Vragel will use examples from companies in multiple manufacturing industries to illustrate how a process-centered approach has helped organizations achieve breakthrough improvements.

“In an increasingly tough business environment, companies need to raise performance to survive and thrive,” says Vragel. “This puts a premium on resources, but breakthrough performance can be achieved without capital expenditures.”

The theme of the conference is “Helping Manufacturers One at a Time.” It’s being hosted by Start magazine.
