The CAE Quality Award is based on the Canadian Framework for Excellence, used by many organizations as a management model for continuous improvement and the achievement of operational goals. There are three levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze. To receive the CAE Gold Trophy, organizations must have fully met the framework criteria with documented overall achievements and results. Bronze and Silver Award recipients must reach Level 3 of one of NQI’s Progressive Excellence Programs. The PEP are target-driven, incremental approaches to applying excellence criteria.
