Canada’s National Quality Institute is planning a tour of at least two quality award-winning businesses early next year. The first tour will be of Polywheels Manufactuturing Ltd., a Toronto company that won a gold trophy for quality in the Canada Award for Excellence program this year. Participants will board a luxury coach for an area tour, then participate in a discussion about the company’s quality and wellness programs. The discussion will also feature explanations for how Polywheels Manufacturing improved its quality and processes, examples of award-winning best practices, tips for sustaining leadership involvement and ideas for dealing with implementation barriers.

A second CAE-winning company will participate in the tour, but its name hasn’t yet been released. For more information, visit www.nqi.com.
