(Child Care Resources Inc.: Charlotte, North Carolina) -- Child Care Resources Inc.’s Child Care Search service recently became North Carolina’s first quality-assured child care resource and referral service through the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies. Child Care Resources’ Child Care Search achieved a score of 100 percent on NACCRRA’s Child Care Aware Quality Assurance Program. The Child Care Aware QAP is a national, voluntary system designed to ensure that child care resource and referral agencies provide consistent, high-quality services to families who seek or use child care. It was developed in 2001 by a team of nationally recognized child care resource and referral experts. There are approximately 860 child care resource and referral agencies in the United States. Currently, only 150 agencies nationwide have achieved quality assured status.
