An upcoming conference will focus on creating synergy between organizations’ various quality improvement efforts.
The SCOR/Six Sigma/Lean Convergence Forum will examine ways to align implementations of quality efforts for maximum benefit. It will be held Nov. 7–8 at the Grand Hyatt DFW Airport Hotel in Dallas and is being hosted by Supply-Chain Council Inc. The conference will feature case study presentations and several workshops examining how supply chain improvements can enhance organizations’ use of lean and Six Sigma. Roxanne O’Brasky, International Society of Six Sigma Professionals president, will be the conference chair. It will also feature presentations from Dan Swartwood, PRAGMATEK Consulting Group Black Belt; Don Redinius, Advanced Integrated Technologies Group Master Black Belt; Tony Gorski, JCIT International demand-flow lean expert; and Robert E. Mansfield Jr., Lockheed Martin global supply chain vice president.
