The Commercial Vehicle Group recently chose Fred Pippen as the new director of quality of its Americas division.

Pippen will be responsible for overall quality systems management, directing supplier quality management and development, supporting emerging market supplier identification and development, and coordination of the company’s customer quality liaison support. Prior to joining CVG in 2000, Pippen held various positions with Cummins Engine Co. and General Motors. He holds a degree in biology and attended Purdue University’s Executive MBA program. Pippen is also a Six Sigma Black Belt and attended the Kaizen Institute of North America.
