(ERAI: Naples, Florida) -- The first Electronic Industry Supply Chain Conference (EISCC) will be hosted May 1–2, 2008, in Las Vegas by ERAI Inc., a global trade association for the electronics industry. The event will focus on essential procurement and quality concerns and on regulatory issues affecting the global supply chain. It will include sessions ranging from counterfeit and high-risk part mitigation to enforcement of intellectual property, and understanding import, export, and international traffic in arms regulations (ITAR).
“As more companies outsource globally, there are a number of issues affecting program managers, and supply chain and quality control personnel that need to be addressed,” says Dan DiMase, president of ERAI.
