Brennan joined the IAOB in January. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing application of worldwide quality-assessment standards. He replaces Tripp Martin, who will resign on Feb. 1 to pursue interests outside the automotive industry.
The IAOB was established to implement and manage ISO/TS 16949 registration schemes on behalf of the IATF, as well as coordinate with the IATF European Oversight Offices to ensure global consistency of the registrations, and support the IATF in its pursuit of global harmonization with other automotive manufacturers. Its members include DaimlerChrysler Corp., Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp. and the Automotive Industry Action Group.
