With 64- and 32-bit support, new features and better integration with its PowerCenter data integration platform, Informatica has upgraded its data quality tools suite—Data Quality 3.1 and Data Explorer 5.0.
Users can use data quality scorecards tied to rules and metrics in a display that shows how quality is affecting an organization. Informatica offers comprehensive data cleansing, matching and quality monitoring capabilities for a wide range of data, including customer, product, financial, inventory pricing, order and various other types of enterprise data.“We believe we have the tightest integration in industry right now. But we can make it tighter to make profiling a more integral piece of the data integration lifecycle,” says Ivan Chong, vice president of product strategy and marketing at Informatica.
