Leica Geosystems’ metrology division recently extended the warranty on its Laser Trackers. The new warranty lasts for five years and is applicable to new Leica Laser Tracker system sales only. To participate, the customer needs to have the system inspected and recertified once a year. The five-year warranty program also covers Leica T-Cams and T-Probes sold together with tracker systems.

“By instituting this new service and support program, we are showing our confidence in the quality of the Leica Laser Trackers we manufacture,” says Dave Koster, vice president of service and support. “The customer has peace of mind in knowing that his system will be covered by an extended warranty for up to five years. We’re creating an added value for Leica customers, making the ownership of our trackers a true five-star experience.”
