(Makino: Tokyo) -- Makino has announced its current roster of free online seminars for 2012. The seminars offer insight into a variety of new milling, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and control technologies for improving part cycle times, quality, and accuracy.

“The North American manufacturing industry is seeing a reasonable recovery, bringing with it new business opportunities,” says Mark Rentschler, Makino’s marketing manager. “With our 2012 online seminar schedule, we’re providing new thinking around a variety of manufacturing processes to achieve the highest level of efficiency possible. It’s our goal to help North American manufacturers capitalize on the opportunities at hand.”

Since its inception, the Makino online seminar series has broadcast more than 125 events with thousands of attendees. It offers process-focused content and new technologies to help manufacturers learn more so they can earn more.
