MetricStream Inc. and Tata Consultancy Services, an Indian IT services firm, recently formed an alliance to help clients decrease the cost of compliance with government regulations and industry mandates. According to the companies, a recent study found that companies will spend nearly $15.5 billion on compliance programs this year, and 92 percent of the companies surveyed reported their compliance budgets will stay that same or even increase next year. The new partnership will tackle rising compliance costs by integrating MetricStream’s market-leading technologies with TCS’ domain expertise.
“In today’s context, the risk of noncompliance to regulatory mandates can prove fatal for an enterprise,” says Venguswamy Ramaswamy, TCS director of sales and delivery support. “Rising cost to address compliance needs is a challenge. Our goal is to provide solutions that will enable our clients to meet their compliance needs at a decreased cost.”
