Richard Childress Racing, a nine-time NASCAR champion, has partnered with metrology company Metris USA.

Metris will provide RCR with high-technology contact and optical metrology equipment to boost the performance of its engines. “Racing has always been about pushing the limits of automotive technology,” says Myles Richards, Metris USA managing director. “We’re pleased to have the opportunity to show the RCR team how it can leverage the latest in metrology to maintain an advantage over its competitors on the fast track to yet another championship. The manufacturing industry has long used our technology in continuous improvement programs to refine their products and boost profits. We’re confident that we can do the same thing for racing.”
