Minitab Inc. recently announced the release of a Japanese version of its popular MINITAB Release 14 software. The Japanese version includes fully translated menus, dialog boxes, text output, graphs and all other features and functionality of the English-language version. In addition, the Japanese version includes tutorials that help new users become familiar with the software, an expanded stat guide and a Japanese help menu.

Minitab developed the Japanese-language version of MINITAB Release 14 to provide Japanese quality improvement efforts with new tools. “Japanese business and industry are known for quality excellence, and leading professionals are using MINITAB,” says Barbara Ryan, Minitab’s president and CEO. “A Japanese-language version of MINITAB will help them more easily implement their programs. It is our way of demonstrating that we are committed to their success.”

Minitab partnered with Tokyo-based Kozo Keikaku Engineering Inc., which will serve as Minitab’s independent local representative in Japan.
