Chad Kymal, founder and CEO of Omnex Inc., will receive the American Society for Quality’s automotive division’s Quality Professional of the Year Award at an upcoming banquet.

The award recognizes the contributions of individuals in the automotive industry that have made significant contributions in the following areas:

• Leadership or managerial skills in implementing continuous quality improvement
• Services provided to the community toward furthering the understanding of quality systems and techniques
• Support and encouragement of new and innovative ideas leading to the never-ending pursuit of excellence
• Demonstrated high regard for team benefits and results

Kymal is a trainer and consultant with broad experience in total quality management, setup reduction, technology assessment and inventory analysis, statistical process control, and quality function deployment. He has served on the Malcolm Baldrige Board of Examiners and is a certified lead auditor.
