(Peter Drucker Society Europe: Wien, Austria) -- The deadline for the Peter Drucker Challenge essay contest has officially been extended to Aug. 15, 2011. Initiated and organized by the Peter Drucker Society Europe (PDSE), the essay contest has the overarching theme “Management: What Is It Good For?”

The challenge is aimed at young managers, entrepreneurs, and students up to the age of 35. The length of the essays should be between 1,500 words and 3,000 words. For more information about participating, visit www.druckerchallenge.org.
The authors of the top three essays will be flown to Vienna and invited to participate in the Global Peter Drucker Forum 2011, scheduled for Nov. 3–4, 2011 in Vienna. For the first time at any Drucker forum, this year there will be a dedicated panel session with Peter Drucker Challenge winners so that attendees can learn about the perspective of the younger generation.
In addition, up to 40 authors of high-quality essays will get free access to the Global Peter Drucker Forum 2011.
