M.E.S. Indian School, the largest expatriate school in the country of Qatar, expects to obtain registration to ISO 9001 by November. PK Mohamed, vice president of the school, reports that the MES Indian School appeared to already meet almost all of ISO 9001’s requirements. The school has almost 7,000 students, and 493 teachers and staff members on its residential campus, located in Doha. The school has programs for preschool-age children up to secondary school, and provides physics, chemistry and biology labs, engineering instruction, sports and computer science.
Moody International Certification, of Dubai, is completing the registration process. Solutions, a management consultant firm, was hired to help in the process, reports the school.
