Quality Expo, which is held in the Chicago area during odd-numbered years, began a regional version of the event in even-numbered years starting in 2000. That year, as in 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2008, the show was held in the Detroit area, in a nod toward the auto industry, which is a key audience for Quality Expo. With the increased presence in the South for this industry, as well as other major sectors such as machinery, metalworking, pharmaceuticals, medical device, plastics, and others, Charlotte emerged as the optimal spot for Quality Expo’s 2010 regional event.
This year, Quality Expo South will be co-located with these other important manufacturing events:
-
South Pack
-
AM Expo/ATX South
-
Design & Manufacturing South
-
Plant Engineering South
-
MetalTec
-
PLASTEC South
-
Green Manufacturing Expo
