The American Aerospace Quality Group recently invited RABQSA to represent auditor authentication bodies on its Registration Management Committee.

The committee oversees international interpretations of and registrations to standards for the aerospace industry. RABQSA recently recommended that aerospace auditors be certified as experts in aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and AS9110. Shanya Salamaca, RABQSA’s manager of certification services, will represent RABQSA on the committee.

“This is a very pleasing recognition of the value and contribution RABQSA is offering the aerospace industry,” says Michael Carmody, RABQSA present and CEO. “Shanya has had a long-term involvement with the AAQG and it is pleasing that her commitment and contribution to the industry have been recognized.”
