More than 10,000 manufacturing customers, analysts and partners attended Rockwell Automation Inc.’s 13th annual Automation Fair recently. The event took place Oct. 27–28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, and was the world’s largest free education manufacturing forum. It featured tutorials, technical sessions, demonstrations, labs and exhibits for manufacturers to show their wares.
“Automation Fair allows us to personally connect and share our 100 years of experience and ongoing innovation with customers,” says Keith Nosbusch, Rockwell Automation president and CEO.
Rockwell also hosted “Manufacturing Perspectives 2004,” the day before the Automation Fair began. The forum addressed global manufacturing trends and featured experts from The Conference Board, the National Coalition for Advanced Manufacturing, AMR Research and the ARC Advisory Group.
