(GBMP: Boston) -- The Shingo Prize criteria and model have been developed to provide companies with a blueprint for attaining world-class excellence. Workshop participants will gain an understanding of the criteria and the underlying principles and tenets behind the Shingo Prize philosophy and approach, through a group analysis of a case study “achievement report,” and a team evaluation of the company. You will learn how to apply lean methods to your own organization and how to use this information to challenge for the regional and national Shingo Prizes for Excellence in Manufacturing.

- How to implement lean manufacturing practices in your organization
- How to improve your company’s core business processes
- How to use the Shingo Prize Model as a benchmark
- How to become a Shingo Prize examiner
