(STLE: Park Ridge, Illinois) -- Concerned with friction and wear, the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers will hold its annual meeting and exhibition May 18–22, at the Cleveland Convention Center in Cleveland. STLE’s purposes are education, improved equipment and processes, and conservation of resources, and this yearly gathering helps fulfill these goals. The technical presentations, panel discussions, and exhibits of products showcase solutions.
Of the nearly 400 technical papers being delivered at this meeting, 17 address the topic of wear. Included in this group are enhanced characterization techniques of wear processes under a variety of conditions or with a variety of materials, coatings, and wear surfaces.
